Al-Sudani visits Jordan tomorrow, Tuesday

Baghdad Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani will visit Jordan tomorrow, Tuesday, to participate in the “Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership” in its second edition, which is sponsored by Iraq and France.

Leaders and officials from Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, France, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Iran and Turkey are participating in the conference.

He added, “Our mission is to preserve a regional system, peaceful coexistence, and resolve differences through dialogue, away from the use of violence, as well as emphasizing Iraq’s pioneering role in bringing different viewpoints closer together.”

Al-Sudani said in a press conference: “The Central Bank has started operating the electronic platform for the provisions and regulation of the currency sale and purchase window, adding that transfers to fake companies have been rejected and there are exaggerated prices in the currency sale window.”

He explained that the price inflation operations in the currency sale window aim to remove the dollar from the country, stressing that the government was and is still monitoring the central bank’s policy to ensure the stability of the market.

Baghdad The MP for the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Sabah Sobhi, affirmed that the next year’s budget is the highest in the history of Iraq, stressing the necessity of exploiting it with profitable investment projects.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that everyone should agree on defining the special criteria in the budget and the quotas for the region and the governorates, because it is the people’s sustenance, employee salaries, development and investment projects.

He added that the next budget will be the highest in the history of Iraq, and it must be optimally utilized in profitable investment projects in particular, and not to engage in secondary expenditure aspects at the expense of strategic projects.
