The Ministry of Transport directs its directorates to harness and mobilize efforts in support Gulf 25 in Basra

The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, directed all companies affiliated with the ministry to harness and mobilize the efforts and capabilities available to them, and to provide possible means to support the Gulf Championship 25 in Basra Governorate.

The Ministry of Transport stated in a statement, that “Al-Saadawi directed all companies affiliated with the ministry, especially the General Company for the Department of Private Transport, Iraqi Airways and the General Company for Railways, to harness and mobilize the efforts and capabilities available to them and provide possible means to support the Gulf Championship 25, whose competitions will start early next year in Basra Governorate.”

The statement added: “The minister stressed the need to coordinate with other authorities and ministries for the success of this important sporting event, which will confirm Iraq’s ability to host tournaments and sporting events,” stressing that “this sporting event is a step towards achieving ambition towards hosting international tournaments.”

The civil defense mobilizing its efforts and harnessing its mechanisms to siphoning and drawing rainwater in all governorates

By order of the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, the Civil Defense Directorate mobilized its human efforts and harnessed its mechanisms to support municipal departments by drawing and siphoning rain water from the main streets and residential neighborhoods, after the rains increased in all governorates of Iraq, under the supervision of its Director General, Major General Kadhim Salman Bohan.

For his part, the Mayor of Baghdad, Ammar Musa Kadhim, directed today, Friday, to operate stations and emergency lines to drain rainwater.

A statement by the Municipality of Baghdad said: “Mayor of Baghdad followed up on the field efforts to drain siphoning rainwater in Al-Baladiyat Street within Al-Ghadeer municipality sector, and directed that more efforts be made and to operate emergency stations and lines to drain rainwater.
