Baghdad The Oil Expert, Hamza Al-Jawahiry, confirmed that the rise in the price of the dollar is an American decision against some Iraqi banks.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: The rise in the price of the dollar in the Iraqi markets came as a result of the decision of the US Federal Bank to prevent four Iraqi banks from converting the dollar based on monitoring the performance of these banks.

Al-Jawahiry added: The government has taken a policy of dealing in dollars through a new window for selling the currency, and this measure will limit the money laundering process.

Fadhel Al-Badrany to One of the reasons for the high price of the dollar is Washington’s pressure on the current government

Baghdad Political analyst Fadhel Al-Badrani confirmed that one of the reasons for the high price of the dollar is Washington’s pressure on the current government.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): Washington is addressing Al-Sudani through a message of economic pressure not to move Iraq away from its axis.

Al-Badrani added: The growing rise of the dollar against the dinar constitutes a message of external pressure on Baghdad, and the reasons for that are due to the American-Iranian conflict and the first party’s attempt to deprive the second party of any economic benefits, in the sense of imposing a Western blockade on the regional parties neighboring Iraq.

He explained: The rise is also a direct American threat message to the Iraqi government through the economy, as it is an effective weapon in influencing the Iraqi situation.

Al-Badrani pointed out: Some economic information warns of a further rise in the dollar, and of course its impact will be direct on the citizen, and this matter requires a balanced Iraqi political action that restores the value of the dinar to its value against the dollar.
