A newborn baby was found near a garbage dump in Baghdad

Baghdad The security forces found a newborn baby, who was lying near a garbage dump in the capital, Baghdad.

The head of the Women’s Empowerment Unit, Noha Hamid Abdul-Hussein, stated that “the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the Martyr Muhammad Baqir Al-Hakim Hospital in Baghdad received a newborn baby in the Emergency Division, who was found by police officers near a garbage dump.”

She explained, “The child was transferred to the maternity hall to cut the umbilical cord, and he was delivered to the internal preterm ward. The hospital’s protection force and the community police were notified to take the necessary care for the child,” indicating that “the child’s condition is now stable and he is currently under medical care.”

Bahrain condemns storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyard by Israeli official

Manama, The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyard by an official in the new Israeli government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

In a statement today, the ministry noted that this provocative act was a violation of the principles of international law.

It stressed the need to respect the historical and legal status quo in Jerusalem and not interfere with the custodial role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan over the holy sites and endowments in accordance with international resolutions.

The ministry called for de-escalating the situation, exercising restraint and refraining from any acts that could heighten tensions in the holy sites.

KSrelief Distributes Over 1000 Food Baskets in Sudan

Khartoum, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed yesterday 1,170 food baskets in the Republic of Sudan, benefiting 5,872 people.

This comes within the framework of the emergency food aid provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the KSrelief, to those affected by the floods and the needy families in the Republic of Sudan.

KSrelief concludes “Noor Saudi Arabia” voluntary program to combat blindness in Kaedi, Mauritania by performing 279 surgeries

Kaedi, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded on Saturday the “Noor Saudi Arabia” voluntary program to combat blindness in the city of Kaedi, Mauritania, which was implemented in cooperation with Al Basar International Foundation.

During the campaign, the KSrelief’s voluntary medical team examined 5,050 cases, distributed 1,000 medical glasses, and successfully performed 279 surgeries.

This campaign comes as an extension of the projects related to combating blindness that the Kingdom is implementing, represented by the KSrelief for low-income families, in several other countries.
