Member of Parliamentary Finance Committee: The budget may be completed during the current week

Baghdad, Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Moein Al-Kadhimi, announced that the budget may be completed during the current week.

Al-Kadhimi said in a televised statement: “There is a political consensus regarding passing the 2023 budget, which may reach 140 trillion dinars.”

He added: “The investment sector will have 60 % of the budget, and the region’s share will be more than 13 %.”

Minister of Interior: We will reconsider the organizational matters of the Gulf 25, and what happened yesterday in the organizational matters “will not be repeated”

Baghdad, The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, announced that the organizational matters of the Gulf 25 will be reviewed, stressing that what happened yesterday “will not be repeated.”

Al-Shammari said in a press conference that the Prime Minister directed a comprehensive analysis of what happened at the Gulf 25 opening ceremony.

For his part, the head of the Iraqi Football Assossation, Adnan Darjal, said: We are keen to correct what happened yesterday at the opening of the Gulf 25 tournament.
