Lattakia, SANA – A Libyan plane, loaded with relief materials for those affected by the earthquake arrived at Lattakia International Airport.

This is the third plane sent by the brotherly people in Libya, the airport director, Ziyad al-Taweel told SANA reporter.

Damascus-SANA-Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Miqdad, received this evening a phone call from Mauritania’s Foreign Minister Mohamed Salem Ould Marzouk, during which he conveyed the condolences and sympathy of the Mauritanian President and people to the Syrian government and people, and their solidarity with the families of the victims and those affected by the earthquake that struck Syria.

Ould Marzouk expressed feelings of sadness and grief, showing support of the Mauritanian government over this humanitarian catastrophe and the victims Syria lost as a result.

In turn, Mikdad expressed his thanks for the high solidarity expressed by Mauritania and its leadership towards Syria in its ordeal, noting the depth of relations binding the two countries and Syria’s aspiration to develop cooperation with the brothers in Mauritania in a way that serves the interest of the two brotherly peoples.
