Basra Police arrested a man accused of premeditated murder.
The Basra Governorate Police Command said in a statement that, as a result of a security operation, a security force from the town’s Crime Control Division was able to determine the whereabouts of the accused, take him down, and seize a pistol in his possession.
It indicated that legal measures had been taken against him and he was referred to the detention center to complete the investigation.
