The Military Intelligence Directorate arrested a terrorist in Anbar and seized a cache of ammunition in Salah Al-Din.
A statement by the Directorate stated that, based on accurate intelligence information from the Directorates of the Fifth Division and the Twenty-First Division, and in cooperation with intelligence and a force from the Ninety-First Brigade, an elaborate ambush was set up in the village of Al-Aitha, and as a result, one of the terrorists wanted by the judiciary was arrested according to the provisions of Article 4 of terrorism in the Shirqat district, and he was handed over to the requesting party.
He added that the directorate’s detachments were able, through the division of the Fifth Division, with the participation of a force from the eighteenth brigade, the tactical team / Anbar, and the Falcons of intelligence cell, and after research and inspection, they seized a stack containing (300) full ammunition containers of a single type of 14.5 mm in Wadi Thamel, and the engineering effort detachments ensured by dealing with seizures according to the applicable contexts.
