Baghdad, The Independent High Electoral Commission announced the alternative candidate for MP Laith Al-Dulaimi.
A document addressed to the office of the Speaker of Parliament issued by the Chairman of the Council of Commissioners, Jalil Adnan Khalaf, stated: We would like to inform you that the candidate who follows / Laith Mustafa Hammoud Al-Dulaimi / for the Baghdad Governorate / Karkh / the sixteenth electoral district is / Ahmed Ismail Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Mashhadani / the candidate for the National Masses Party .
