Air Force Runs Six Evacuation Flights from Sudan to Saudi Arabia

The Royal Saudi Air Force has carried out six evacuation flights from Sudan to the Kingdom since the start of the evacuations until today.

The Royal Saudi Air Forces have evacuated approximately 530 Saudi citizens and nationals of the following countries: Thailand, Sweden, Nigeria, Mali, Eritrea, United States of America, United Kingdom, Pakistan, South Africa, Australia, Somalia, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Benin, Chad, Philippines, Kenya, Norway, Palestine, Turkiye, Indonesia, and Sudan.

There have been twenty-six foreign flights leaving Sudan to King Abdullah Air Base in the Western Sector, carrying 2,889 nationals of brotherly and friendly countries belonging to six countries: India, Pakistan, Sudan, Indonesia, Morocco, and Korea.

Twenty-two flights departed King Abdullah Air Base, carrying 2,558 people, via Pakistani, Indian, Thai, Ethiopian, Moroccan, Iranian, Mauritanian, Korean and Libyan airlines as well as United Nations planes.

These evacuations come in the implementation of the directives of the wise leadership and as part of the humanitarian efforts made by the Kingdom to protect and provide safety of citizens and nationals of the brotherly and friendly countries that have requested the assistance of their nationals and their transfer to safe places
