Al-Araji discusses with the Ambassador of the Republic of India ways to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two countries

Baghdad The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received in his office today, Thursday, the Ambassador of the Republic of India in Baghdad, Prashant Bisai.

Al-Araji reviewed with the Indian Ambassador, according to the statement of the chancellery, Iraqi-Indian relations, and ways to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two countries, in addition to discussing the latest political and security developments, at the regional and international levels.

Al-Araji stressed to the Indian Ambassador that countries are developing and need to strengthen relations and cooperation among them and develop their capabilities. With regard to the Ukrainian-Russian crisis, Al-Araji indicated that the conflicting countries will sit at the end of the war at one table, and we believe that sitting for dialogue before the war is better than sitting after it.

For his part, the Indian Ambassador briefed the Indian military industry, some weapons and aircraft, as well as his country’s capabilities in the technical and cyber field, expressing India’s readiness to cooperate with Iraq in this field.
