Al-Hajraf Affirms that Unified Military Command is Key to Security, Stability, and Protection of GCC Achievements

Riyadh– Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf said that the Unified Military Command (UMC) represents a key to the security and stability, a shield to protect and preserve the capabilities and achievements of the GCC states, and a source of pride and honor for all GCC citizens.

This came during his visit to the headquarters of the UMC today in Riyadh, where he was received by UMC commander Lieutenant-General Dr. Eid bin Awad Al-Shalawi, and senior officers.

During the visit, Dr. Al-Hajraf was briefed on the duties and tasks carried out by the UMC and its affiliated units, and the steps taken to activate these duties.
