Baghdad Head of the National State Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, blessed the press family and the President of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Muayyad al-Lami, for renewing confidence in him as president of the Federation of Arab Journalists .
Al-Hakim said: “We congratulate the Iraqi press family and the President of Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Muayyad Al-Lami, for renewing confidence in him to head the Federation of Arab Journalists for the second time during the Federation’s elections in Cairo.”
He added, “We hope that the new session of the Federation’s life will be filled with a sober media discourse that accompanies the issues of the Arab and Islamic nations and works to neutralize the extremist rhetoric that spreads hatred among peoples.”
