President of the Federation of Arab Journalists, President of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami, saluted Iraqi journalists and around the world on the World Press Freedom Day.
Al-Lami said in a tweet on Twitter: “Greetings to Iraqi journalists and journalists around the world on World Press Freedom Day.”
He added: “Thanks to those who contributed to our celebration on this day and remembering the courage of Iraqi journalists. Thanks to UNESCO and thanks to the representatives of the Prime Minister, the Supreme Judicial Council, Parliament, the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense, the United Nations and media institutions.”
