Al-Mandalawi stresses the need to improve the services of mobile phone companies for citizens

Baghdad The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, stressed the need to improve the services provided by mobile phone companies to citizens.

A statement by his media office said that Al-Mandalawi received, today, Monday, the head of the Media and Communications Authority, Ali Al-Moayad, in the presence of a number of MPs. During the meeting, they discussed the fourth generation mobile phone license, the debts owed by Asiacell, the call for improving the services provided by mobile phone companies to citizens, and activating the decision to cancel the packing card tax voted by the Council of Ministers in response to the letter of the First Deputy sent to the Ministry of Communications, starting from next month.”

According to the statement, the media’s role in exposing corruption files and supporting the state’s efforts to eradicate it was emphasized.
