Al-Sudani chairs a meeting of the Supreme Committee for Investment and Reconstruction / Expanded

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, chaired today, Thursday, a meeting of the Supreme Committee for Investment and Reconstruction, the first since the reactivation of the committee.

The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement, “During the meeting, it was approved to announce the investment opportunities for the new residential cities, which included the following projects:

The new city of Al-Jawahiri in the Baghdad governorate / Abu Ghraib, the new city of Dhifaf Karbala in the Karbala governorate, the new city of Fallujah in the Anbar governorate, the new city of Al-Janain in the Babylon governorate, and the new city of Al-Ghazlani in the Nineveh governorate.

The statement added, “The meeting discussed the executive steps to initiate new residential city projects that constitute an open investment plan, which was approved in accordance with Cabinet Resolution 23121, which formed the committee specialized in new cities.

Al-Sudani stressed, “During the meeting, the importance of investment projects aiming to meet the priorities of the government program, and to address the housing crisis files, according to a clear investment and economic vision.”

The statement indicated that the meeting witnessed an emphasis on the tasks of the committee in following up and improving the conditions of the investment environment, and ways to enhance it to make it an attractive environment for investment in terms of opportunities and legislation development, and supports the national economy.
