Baghdad The Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, met today, Saturday, in the city of Tikrit, a number of members of Parliament from Salah Al-Din Governorate.
The meeting witnessed, according to a statement by Al-Sudani’s office, a review of the problems that the governorate suffers from, in the important service and sectoral aspects, and ways to address them, and a number of files that need the government’s attention were discussed.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the need for high coordination between the legislative and executive authorities, and to support the governmental effort in implementing strategic plans and vital projects throughout Iraq.
Al-Sudani stressed the need to support the local government in accomplishing what is required, according to the requirements of the ministerial program, and that efforts be joint and effective in order to serve the people of Salah al-Din Governorate, meet their basic needs and requirements, and everything that would enhance security and stability in the governorate.
