Al-Sudani Stresses The Importance Of Baghdad International Airport Being Suitable For The Capital And Reflecting Its Civilized Face

The Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, chaired today, Wednesday, a special meeting to discuss plans for the rehabilitation and development of Baghdad International Airport.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement, “The meeting witnessed discussion of the measures taken to announce the development and rehabilitation of the airport as an investment opportunity for specialized international companies, in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), in addition to preparing an economic feasibility study for this vital and important project.”

Al-Sudani stressed the need to “work according to an integrated vision, a specific timetable, and high specifications in order for the airport to become suitable for the capital, Baghdad, reflect its civilized face, and provide the best and finest services, whether for Iraqi travelers or arrivals to Iraq.”
