Baghdad The Red Sea Film Festival, in its second session in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, witnessed the showing of the Iraqi film “Hanging Gardens” directed by Ahmed Yassin Al-Daradji, which won the Golden Yusr Award for Best Feature Film .
The film also won the Yusr Award for Best Cinematic Achievement for director of photography Duraid Munjem.
The film revolves around 12-year-old Asaad, who adopts a doll found in a garbage dump in Baghdad, where Asaad, who is a garbage collector, finds himself in the crosshairs of a struggle in which he relies on his courage not only to survive, but to live.
