An official reception ceremony for the Sudanese in Tehran

Baghdad An official reception ceremony for the Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, took place today, Tuesday, at Saadabad Palace in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

The reception ceremony began with the playing of the Iraqi and Iranian Republican anthems and the review of the honor guard.

Today, Tuesday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, arrived in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This visit came at the official invitation of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, where Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani was accompanied by Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani, National Security Adviser Qassim al-Araji, Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, Economic Adviser, and Director of the Trade Bank of Iraq.

Al-Sudani will meet Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Ibrahim Raisi.

The Assistant Director of the Office of the President of the Iranian Republic for Political Affairs, Muhammad Jamshidi, announced last Sunday that Al-Sudani will hold official meetings during this one-day visit, and a memorandum of understanding will be signed to develop cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad.
