Arab Parliament Calls for Urgent International Investigation into Israeli Crimes in Gaza Hospitals

Cairo, The Arab Parliament called for an urgent and independent international investigation into the mass graves discovered at Al-Shifa Hospital and Nasser Hospital, following the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation army from some areas in the Gaza Strip.

The Arab Parliament stated today that the extent of the massacres and atrocities perpetrated by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and the elderly in the Gaza Strip, raises serious doubts and questions about the United Nations’ ability to protect civilians. The Parliament emphasized that the occupation’s massacres constitute war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, and a violation of all resolutions calling for the protection of civilians during conflicts.

Furthermore, the Arab Parliament urged the international community, human rights organizations, the United Nations, and the Security Council to take all necessary legal measures to hold the occupation accountable for its crimes and massacres. This incl
udes adherence to the standards of international law and international humanitarian law and ensuring that those responsible are brought to justice as war criminals.
