Arab Parliament Speaker: Saudi-Egyptian Joint Statement Represents Roadmap to Solve Regional Crises

Cairo– Speaker of the Arab Parliament Adel Al-Asoomi stressed that the constructive discussions between the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, with Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi came at a very important timing that requires enhancing Arab solidarity and intensifying the pace of continuous coordination and consultation, especially in light of the existing instability in the international system and its repercussions on the Arab region.

In a statement today, Al-Asoomi considered the joint statement, which was issued at the conclusion of the important visit of President El-Sisi to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a roadmap to solve the crises in the Arab region and the Middle East in general.

He also stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt represent a safety valve to protect and preserve the security of the Arab region and a main pillar in realizing security in the region.
