Amman– Jordan’s King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has had talks in Washington with each of US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, and White House National Security Council Coordinator for the Middle East & North Africa Brett McGurk separately, it was reported here today.

During the meetings, which took place yesterday, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them as well as the latest regional and international developments of mutual interest were discussed.

Jeddah– The Secretary-General of Jeddah-based International Islamic Fiqh Academy(IIFA), Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, met yesterday, Thursday at the headquarters of IIFA General Secretariat, the United States Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom Rashad Hussain, currently on a visit to the Kingdom.

Ambassador Hussain explained that his visit to the headquarters of the IIFA General Secretariat comes within the framework of his country’s tireless endeavor to strengthen relations of cooperation and coordination with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and its affiliated bodies, and to learn and benefit from the Academy’s contributions in the areas of pluralism, religious tolerance, coexistence between religions and cultures, and combating and combating extremist ideology, terror and violence.

He pointed out that his country’s government views with appreciation the moderate and sober thought offered by the IIFA, and all commendable efforts to spread moderation and peaceful coexistence between religions, looking forward to more cooperation and coordination with the IIFA in order to serve these noble humanitarian goals, through the joint organization of some targeted scientific activities inside and outside the United States of America, and the participation of prestigious US religious institutions in the council’s various sessions and scientific conferences.

For his part, the IIFA Secretary-General stressed that this meeting would mark the beginning of solid and solid relations of cooperation and coordination between the Academy and the authorities supervising religious affairs in the United States of America, stressing the IIFA’s readiness to work on organizing joint scientific activities within the United States of America, directed at Muslim communities to serve ideas and invite the American Muslim scholars to participate in the upcoming sessions of the Academy to enrich the dialogue and spread the benefit.

Makkah– The worshipers at the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Holy Mosque performed after Isha prayer today the absentee funeral prayer for the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan (may Allah bestow mercy on him).

They prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow mercy upon the deceased, reside him in paradise and reward him with the best reward for the great deeds he has done for his homeland and the Islamic and Arab nations.

Riyadh– The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for the Arab States Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf has expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the ruling family of the United Arab Emirates, the government and the Emirati people on passing away of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who passed away after a lifetime full of giving and service to his people, homeland, and Arab and Islamic nations.

Dr. Al-Hajraf said that the Gulf Cooperation Council has lost one of its leaders, who has had great contributions and positions on supporting the process of cooperation between the GCC states so that this entity has become well-established and expressing the depth of the strong brotherly relations that brought together the peoples of the GCC states throughout history.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister received with great sadness and sorrow the news of passing away of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, may Allah bestow mercy on his soul and reside him in paradise.

The King and HRH Crown Prince expressed their deepest condolences and sympathy to the government of the United Arab Emirates, the honorable Al Nahyan family, the brotherly Emirati people, and to the Arab and Islamic nations on passing away of a leader who has given a lot to his people, nation and the world.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people, as they share their sorrows with the brothers in the United Arab Emirates, pray to Allah Almighty to grant patience and solace to all in this great calamity, and to perpetuate the United Arab Emirates’ security, stability and prosperity.

Jizan, May 13, 2022, SPA– The patrols of the security regiments in the Jazan region have arrested a citizen in possession of (36) kilograms of the narcotic Qat in the Al-Ardha Governorate.

The culprit was arrested, legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred to the competent authority.

Jeddah– The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has directed to perform the funeral prayer for the absent deceased His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may Allah Almighty bestow mercy on him, after Isha prayer today , Friday, 12/10/1443 AH, at the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Holy Mosque.

Jeddah– His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, made a phone call today to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates.

During the call, HRH Crown Prince expressed condolences and sympathy to His Highness on the passing away of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, may Allah bestow mercy on him, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy and forgiveness upon the deceased, reside him in paradise and grant them patience and solace.

For his part, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi expressed his thanks and appreciation to HRH Crown Prince for his condolences to them on the deceased.
