Babylon signs a MoU with a Chinese and Turkish delegation

Hilla, The Governor of Babylon, Wissam Aslan, signed a memorandum of understanding with a Chinese and Turkish delegation regarding the implementation and financing of industrial and infrastructure strategic projects.

The governor of Babylon, Wissam Aslan, said, “The province of Babylon signed today, Saturday, a memorandum of understanding for strategic projects in Babylon with a Chinese and Turkish delegation, in the presence of a representative of the President of the Republic.”

He added, “The agreement will include services and tourism, and we will compensate the Babylonian citizen for years of deprivation of services.”

For his part, Kamel Al-Dulaimi, Chief of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, said, “The President of the Republic showed special interest in Babylon and this agreement,” noting that “Babylon is a historical turning point in Iraq. “

Al-Dulaimi pointed out that “the governor of Babylon faces difficulties in order to provide services, and this agreement is a historic stance.”

For his part, the spokesman for the Chinese companies, Ziyad Al-Tamimi, stated that “the projects will see the light in the near future.”
