Basra: We have provided the necessary lighting in the Gulf 25 stadiums, and internet service for the public

Baghdad Basra Governorate announced today, Sunday, the provision of the necessary lighting in the Gulf 25 stadiums, internet service for the public, and the completion of the rehabilitation of roads leading to the stadiums.

“There are large works being carried out on several levels in Basra. At the level of roads and the municipality, we have finished the maintenance work, where the work of decorating the roads and placing posters commensurate with the splendor of Basra,” said Assistant Governor for Administrative Affairs Moeen al-Hassan, in a televised statement. Some arenas and set up screens to transmit the match during the tournament days.

He stressed that “the rehabilitation of the roads leading to the Sports City and the port stadium has been completed,” pointing out that “what remains is the strategic road linking Basra Airport and the Sports City, which will enter into use after four days.”

He stated that “the lighting has been addressed in Al Mina Stadium, and all the governorate stadiums are ready to receive the tournament and there are no obstacles,” pointing to “the provision of internet service to the Sports City stadium, which will cover the audience and even mouse devices with display screens and lighting.”

He explained that “all logistical matters have been prepared for organizing the tournament by the Gulf Federation,” noting that “there are no security cuts, barriers, or controls, and the traffic will be smooth.”
