About the change in the performance of some Iraqi national team players and their appearance at a good level, he explained: I constantly talk with the players in order to give them more enthusiasm and courage, but this is not enough, but we have many individual sessions with the players, and watch some video clips and compare them with their performance, whether at the level of clubs or through their participation with the national team in previous matches, and we always try to correct some mistakes, and I am very happy with their understanding of duties.
The coach of the Iraqi national team pointed out: “The Lions of Mesopotamia are not candidates to win the title, although we have a dream of reaching the final, but the reality is that there is more than one distinguished team, and it has chances of winning the title.”
