IRAN EXTENDS FLIGHT CANCELLATION AT TEHRAN AIRPORT


The Public Relations of the Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company declared on Sunday that Notam number 1135 issued by the Tehran Mehrabad International Airport will be in place until 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, and all flights are canceled until the set time.

Earlier, the Tehran Mehrabad International Airport issued NOTAM number 1135 to declare that all flights were canceled from 2:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Riyadh Police Arrest 2 Residents for Trafficking 13,000 Narcotic Tablets


Riyadh: The Criminal Investigation and Search Department of the Riyadh Region Police have apprehended two Pakistani residents for using a residential unit as a hub for trafficking 13,000 narcotic tablets. The detainees have undergone legal procedures and subsequently been referred to the Public Prosecution.

Security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to suspicious drug smuggling or trafficking activities. They can contact 911 from Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region, and 999 from other areas across the Kingdom. Reports can also be submitted to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) by calling 995 or via email at 995@gdnc.gov.sa. All reports are treated with the utmost confidentiality.

The occupation forces place cement cubes in the back area

Hebron – Ma’an – This evening, the occupation army placed cement cubes in the Al-Dhahr area in Yalda Beit Ummar, near the “Kermei Tzur” settlement, south of the town.

Awad explained that the isolation threatens about 1,500 occupation soldiers and restrictions on farmers to work on their lands planted with almonds and grapes.

Awad stated that the occupation army, while setting up the tents and while placing the cubes, the occupation soldiers randomly fired gas bombs towards the homes of the citizens, where a number of them suffered from suffocation and were treated in the field.

Municipalities Minister inspects municipal preparations for rainfall accumulations


Manama, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister, visited and inspected a number of areas to review the development of rainwater drainage networks and other solutions for rainfall accumulation across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The inspection visits included Muharraq Municipality and Capital Municipality.

The minister said that the Capital Municipality and municipal councils have increased their preparations to deal with rainwater accumulations, in anticipation of weather forecasts indicating the possibility of heavy rainfall over the coming two days.

The mechanisms used to deal with rainfall were reviewed, as well as cleaning roads promptly after suction operations are completed to ensure the accessibility of roads.

Al Mubarak said that the ministry had developed an integrated plan in the event of heavy rainfall. An emergency team and a joint operations room have been set up to carry out necessary procedures to drain rainwater pools in coordination with the Ministry of Work
s, Civil Defense and municipal councils.

He urged citizens, residents and visitors to report any emergency regarding rainwater accumulation via the municipal hotline 80008188.

SAUDI ARABIA EXPRESSES DEEP CONCERN OVER MILITARY ESCALATION IN THE REGION


The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s deep concern over the recent military escalation in the region and warned against its serious repercussions, the Saudi Press Agency said on Sunday.

The Kingdom urged all parties to exercise maximum restraint and to avoid war.

The ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom’s stance, urging the Security Council to fulfill its responsibility in maintaining international peace and security and to act to prevent the crisis from escalating.

COMMENT BY UN HUMAN RIGHTS CHIEF ON IRANIAN ATTACKS AGAINST ISRAEL


In an issued media statement today, UN Human Rights Chief Volker Trk commented on the Iranian attacks against Israel yesterday night, saying: “I strongly condemn the wide-scale attacks launched last night by Iran against Israel. Such missile and drone attacks had the potential to cause significant harm beyond military targets and put civilians at risk. This only adds fuel to the fire in the whole region. I remind all parties of their obligations under international humanitarian law and international human rights law.”

He added, “I am deeply worried about the potential humanitarian and human rights cost if this escalation leads to wider conflict in the Middle East. I urge all parties to take steps to de-escalate the situation and call on third States, in particular those with influence, to do all in their power to ensure there is no further deterioration in an already extremely precarious situation.”

KSrelief Provides Health Care Services to Syrian Refugees, Host Community in Lebanon in March


Beirut, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has been implementing a project to improve healthcare services for Syrian refugees and the host community in the town of Arsal in the Lebanese Baalbek Governorate.

In March 2024, a total of 3,422 patients visited the Arsal Health Care Center and received 6,128 services from various health sections such as clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, nursing, and the community and mental health program. Of the total beneficiaries, 38% were males and 62% were females, while 86% were refugees and 14% were residents. These efforts are part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s relief and humanitarian initiatives to assist those in need and Syrian refugees in all areas and alleviate their suffering due to the humanitarian crisis they are facing.

The killer of a traffic policeman arrested in Diyala

The Diyala Police Command revealed the details of the murder of an employee in the governorate’s Traffic Directorate / in the capacity of a contract / three days ago.

Diyala Police Chief, Major General Alaa Al-Zubaidi, said in a statement: ‘A security team was formed to uncover the circumstances of the crime, and it became clear through investigations that the perpetrator was a friend of the victim. He lured him to the bank of the Diyala River from the direction of the village (Bazayez Sherwin) and killed him with several gunshots as a result of a personal argument between them.

He added: ‘The security team arrested the perpetrator after following him and arriving at his location.’

The security forces announced several days ago that the body of a traffic policeman was found dumped on the bank of the Diyala River, bearing traces of gunshot wounds.
