The goal is to achieve the global guidance of the Holy Mosque and use Friday sermon translations to foster cross-cultural understanding and communication.

One of the religious system’s most important aims is to translate the Friday sermon, scientific lessons, and awareness and guidance courses so that the message of the Two Holy Mosques can be shared with the world. This is in addition to providing services to visitors in their respective languages within the Two Holy Mosques and their courtyards.

The current translations of the Friday sermons in the Two Holy Mosques are in English, French, Urdu, Malay, Turkish, Bengali, Haussawi, Chinese, Russian, and Persian. These translations are selected based on exte
nsive field studies that aim to meet the needs and nationalities of visitors and pilgrims. The Presidency of Religious Affairs is currently studying the possibility of increasing the number of translations into other international languages in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and weighing the benefits of extending it to accommodate the millions of Umrah performers, tourists, and pilgrims.

Those interested in hearing the Friday sermon translated can be accessed through the “Manarat Al-Haramain” platform or FM radio frequencies at the same time as the Friday sermon in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
