UNICEF Gulf Praises Saudi Arabia’s Decision to Resume In-Class Education for Kindergartens, Elementary Stages
Riyadh, UNICEF Gulf Deputy Representative Jumana Haj Ahmad has praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s decision to resume in-class education for the kindergarten and elementary stages, stressing that it is an important step for children, especially that schools should be the last to close and the first to reopen during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.The remarks were made during a visit to the Satellite Broadcasting School (SBS), where the delegates were received by the Ministry of Education Undersecretary for Public Education Dr. Mohammed bin Saud Al-Migbel who delivered a briefing on the school and broadcasting studios, and the mechanism of shooting and recording lessons, in addition to the operations of educational supervision for their contents.
