Concert in Prague in support of the earthquake victims in Syria

The Czech Philharmonic’s Smichov Orchestra, in cooperation with the Singing Ensemble of the Higher Technical University in Prague, presented a concert on Wednesday in Prague, the revenues of which were allocated to those affected by the earthquake that struck Syria last February.

The maestro, Joseph Vondracek and the members of the band expressed their solidarity with the Syrian people in the ordeal they were subjected to by the earthquake.

Vondracek noted that he will perform another concert at the end of June, the revenues of which will also be allocated to the earthquake victims.

Vondracek pointed out that the revenues of this concert will be given to the Syrian Embassy in Prague to be sent to Syria.
