Jeddah– The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud addressed citizens and Muslims across the world, on the occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan, 1443 AH.

The following is the text of the speech, which was delivered by Acting Minister of Media, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques:

In the name of Allah the Most Merciful, Most Gracious

Praise be to Allah Almighty, and prayers and peace be upon Prophet Muhammad,

Dear citizens, residents of our dear country, and Muslims everywhere.

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Every year, you are very well.

We thank Allah Almighty that we have reached this holy month, about which Allah Almighty said: (Rama?an is the month in which the Quran was revealed as a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance and the standard ?to distinguish between right and wrong), may Allah help us all to fast and pray.

It is from Allah’s grace upon us that Ramadan brought us relief after hardship, with the receding of the Corona pandemic, and we thank Allah Almighty for the great success we have achieved in containing the pandemic and resisting its impact, thanks to Allah, and thanks to the mighty efforts made by the Kingdom.

Dear citizens:

We take pride in what Allah has honored us with the service of the Two Holy Mosques, pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors, and we are pleased that the Kingdom, praise be to Allah, has allowed the use of the full capacity in the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Holy Mosque, after lifting the precautionary and preventive measures to confront the pandemic.

This great month is a season of good deeds and obedience, and it is an opportunity to clear souls and renounce differences. I ask Allah, the Most Merciful, to help us all to invest in the rituals of Ramadan, for He is Hearing and Responding.

I also thank our brave soldiers stationed on the borders and on the frontlines, all the military sectors, and all the workers in the state’s various sectors, who are dedicated to serving their country, praying to Allah to reward them with the best reward for their efforts.

May Allah accept from us and from you our fasting, praying, and good deeds, and grant us success and reward, and may Allah protect our country and all countries of the world from every evil.

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
