Riyadh– After having defeated Istiqlal Dushanbe of Tajikistan 2-1 today, Al-Sharqa of the UAE is chasing Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia for leading Group 1 in the second round of Asian Champions League 2022, it was reported here.
Following today’s victory, Al-Sharqa’s standing jumped to the second place at three points, following Al-Hilal, leader of the group with six points.
Istiqlal Dushanbe remains point-less at the bottom of the group lagging three points behind Al-Rayan of Qatar, third of the group.
