Economist: Corruption in the country.. erodes the structure of the state.. Confronting it is the basis for building and developing Iraq

Baghdad The economist, Nabil Al-Marsoumi, affirmed: Corruption in the country is eroding the structure of the state, and confronting it is the basis for building and developing Iraq.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that there are private banks on the blacklist, and the matter is not limited to money laundering only, but rather it is carrying out transfers of some of its assets to Iran after the failure of the nuclear talks and the American prosecution of more than 14 Iraqi banks, preventing dealing with them and preventing them from entering the bank auction, which is considered the biggest corruption.

Al-Marsoumi stressed: Confronting corruption is the basis and starting point for building and developing Iraq, because corruption networks control all the main pillars of the Iraqi economy.
