Empowered by Tourism Development Fund, IHG Hotels and Resorts Signs Agreement to Launch Hotel Indigo and Residences Al Khobar


Riyadh: IHG Hotels and Resorts has signed a management agreement with Refad Real Estate Investment and Development Company to launch the Hotel Indigo by September 2027, empowered and supported by the Tourism Development Fund (TDF), which plays a role in developing relations among its partners and encouraging them to reach agreements that pursue sustainable tourism and hospitality activities in the Kingdom.

The project aspires to be the most famous destination in the Eastern Province.

Hotel Indigo and Residences Al Khobar will offer more than 200 rooms and serviced hotel apartments in the vibrant Khobar Corniche area.

Hotels Indigo overlook several inspiring locations in the world, and each hotel draws inspiration from its surroundings to shape all aspects of the hosting experience, from hotel design to restaurants inspired by local culture.

c dynamism, culture richness, and beauty of nature, and provides a haven for those seeking recreation. According to him, the agreement shows commitment to providing an exceptional hospitality experience.

Refad Real Estate Investment and Development Company Managing Director Abdulhadi AbdulAziz Alqahtani said that Hotel Indigo will cater to gourmets and people wishing for a distinct culinary experience through a café inspired by the local neighborhood and a lobby lounge, as well as an event hall and a business lounge, which will enable guests to enjoy different types of dining experiences.

The hotel will also offer improved meeting facilities extending over an area of 290 square meters across five meeting rooms. In addition, it will provide guests with a range of entertainment amenities, including a swimming pool, gym and spa, ensuring an invigorating and rejuvenating stay.

The IHG Hotels and Resorts group currently operates 43 hotels in the Kingdom under six brands: Six Senses, InterContinental, Crowne Pla
za, Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites and Apartments and voco. The group also has 32 hotels due to open in the next two to five years.
