ETEC Participates in 57th Meeting of PGB Group of OECD

Malta, The Saudi Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC), represented by the National Center for Assessment (Qiyas), has recently participated in the 57th four-day meeting of the PGB Group of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Malta.

The meeting, chaired by the Executive Director of Qiyas Center, Dr. Abdullah Al-Qatie, aimed to approve new policies and adopt recent updates.

The most important updates include a new analysis of student performance in the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) and a presentation of an artificial intelligence model called the Collective Intelligence Model for Education (CIME).

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been participating in the PISA test since 2018, with the latest participation in the 2021-2022 session.

This session was presented to 8,765 male and female students representing 193 schools distributed across the Kingdom. Additionally, the Kingdom will participate in the upcoming PISA 2025 test cycle.

The OECD G
overning Council holds this meeting twice a year with the participation of more than 60 countries.
