Brussels– The European Union welcomed the “Inter-Yemeni consultations” that will start from March 29 to April 7 under the auspices of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States, which will be hosted by its General Secretariat.
In a statement issued by the spokesman for the European External Action Service in Brussels, Peter Stano, the European Union thanked the GCC for this initiative in support of the efforts being led by the United Nations to reach a comprehensive and lasting political settlement to the conflict in Yemen.
The European Union called on all Yemeni parties to participate and engage constructively in these consultations in order to restore peace and stability to the people of Yemen.
