Riyadh, On behalf of the Minister of Finance and National Economy, the Ministry of Finance and National Economy Undersecretary for Financial Affairs, Yousef Abdullah Humood, chaired Bahrain’s delegation to the 4th meeting of the GCC Permanent Ministerial Preparatory Committee for Economic and Development Affairs, which convened at the Secretariat General in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of the GCC Secretary General.
The meeting spotlighted a number of issues of common concern in the economic and development fields, including boosting the role of the Authority of Economic and Development Affairs. It also reviewed progress of the authority’s programme to achieve economic unity by 2025.
