Baghdad First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, discussed with the President of the Republic, Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid, political, economic and security developments, and support for the efforts of the Parliament in the new legislative term.
A statement by Al-Mandalawi’s office stated: “The President of the Republic received Al-Mandalawi at al-Salam Palace, and during the meeting, they reviewed the current economic situation and the reasons for concern in the Iraqi market as a result of the high prices of the dollar against the dinar.”
It was agreed on the importance of the federal government taking the necessary measures and decisions to restore economic stability to the exchange rate in line with the provision of basic requirements for citizens.
