Foreign Minister visits Permanent Mission in New York

Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Foreign Affairs Minister, visited the office of the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations (UN) in New York, on the sidelines of the kingdom’s participation in the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The minister was received by Ambassador Jamal Al Rowaiei, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the UN, members of the diplomatic mission and the delegation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs participating in the UNGA.

A meeting was led by the minister to discuss arrangements and preparations by the permanent mission to organise the participation of the kingdom’s delegation in the meetings and events held during the UNGA session.

The minister thanked the permanent mission and all its members for their efforts in serving the implementation of Bahrain’s foreign policy and building bridges with countries and organisations to further bolster friendship and cooperation ties.

He also commended the preparation and coordination efforts for the programme of official delegations participating in the current session of the UNGA, highlighting the importance of positive engagement during the UNGA’s meetings, conferences, and forums.
