Dubai, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States (GCC), met here today the Heads of the GCC Federations and Chambers, in the presence of Chairman of the Federation of GCC Chambers, who is also Chairman of Bahrain's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sameer Abdulla Nass, and Secretary General of the Federation of GCC Chambers Dr. Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Meshari.
In his speech, the GCC Secretary General affirmed that the Supreme Council at the "Sultan Qaboos and Sheikh Sabah Summit", which was hosted by Al-Ula Governorate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 5 January 2021, stressed the importance of focusing on projects with an integrative strategic dimension in the economic and development field. He also stressed the importance of continuing to support and encourage small and medium enterprises, due to their vital role and contributions to the economies of the GCC countries.
The GCC Secretary General added that the summit resulted in many decisions aimed at achieving the aspirations of the GCC citizens in all aspects, based on the keenness of the GCC leaders to support the GCC march in all aspects, including the economic and development aspects.
