Held for First Time in the East and Arab World, “Taqeem” to Host 2022 International Valuation Conference in Riyadh on October 3-5

Riyadh — The Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (Taqeem) will host the International Valuation Conference (IVC) 2022, on 3-5 October 2022 in Riyadh, under the patronage of the Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Taqeem, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, in cooperation with the IVC Committee, for the first time in the Middle East and the Arab world.

The hosting of this major international event by Taqeem is a culmination of its efforts in organizing and developing the profession, given the authority’s mandate to regulate the valuation profession in the Kingdom for the valuation of real estate, economic establishments, machinery, equipment, and vehicle damages.

In its 12th edition, the conference aims to shed light on the valuation profession and the promising opportunities it bears, review and exchange the best local and international practices in the valuation profession, learn about the profession’s developments and the latest international regulations, in addition to transferring and benefiting from international expertise through the participation of international experts and speakers, and highlighting the valuers’ role in preserving rights and ensuring justice.

The conference, held every two years, is a link between valuers, regulators, academics, and practitioners to discuss important topics and the latest trends in the profession, and exchange knowledge between international valuers, where they share their professional experiences and opinions and discuss the challenges and their future.

The conference’s agenda includes brainstorming sessions for valuation specialists and heads of valuation organizations around the world, with the participation of more than 25 speakers from several countries.
