His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a cable of thanks from the President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA), Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
The SCIA President extended deepest thanks, appreciation and gratitude to HM the King for patronising the celebration of Laylat Al-Qadr and the closing ceremony of the 27th edition of the Bahrain Quran Grand Prize, held this evening at the Ahmed Al-Fateh Islamic Centre.
A total of 112 male contestants who clinched the first positions in the various categories of the Bahrain Quran Grand Prize, in which 2003 competitors participated, hadve been honoured.
Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa conveyed to HM King Hamad the gratitude and greetings of the SCIA members, members of the organising committee, and all contestants for patronising the two events, which, they affirmed, reflects the HM’s constant keenness to support Islamic events and functions in the kingdom.
They also wished HM the King abundant health, happiness and long life.
