Hala Al Ansari, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), presented the Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal of Medical Merit to council’s general secretariat staff members.
Al Ansari conveyed the congratulations of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of SCW.
The secretary-general commended the employees’ efforts which earned them the distinguished medal, noting the medal symbolizes Bahrain’s courage and dedication through critical health conditions and its successful recovery under the slogan (Team Bahrain).
Al Ansari stressed that Bahrain’s achievements and success are a result of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s leadership, and the follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister aimed at advancing the Kingdom in various sectors.
She also highlighted the exceptional work during the pandemic in many initiatives and programs, such as the “Together for Bahrain’s Safety” campaign, backed by HRH Princess Sabeeka to support Bahraini women and families.
The employees expressed their appreciation for receiving the honorary medal for their national efforts.
