In Riyadh… the Minister of Culture discusses with his Sudanese and Palestinian counterparts mechanisms to activate joint cooperation

Baghdad The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Ahmed Fakkak Al-Badrani, held a series of meetings and dialogues with a number of his counterparts from Arab countries on the sidelines of the Conference of Arab Ministers of Culture Responsible for Cultural Affairs held in Riyadh.

Al-Badrani met with Sudanese Minister of Culture and Information Graham Abdel-Qader and discussed with him ways of joint cooperation between the two Ministries and activating memorandums of cultural, tourism and archaeological cooperation between the two countries.

The two sides discussed the necessity of activating the cultural and scientific cooperation agreement signed between the two countries in 1974, and working to activate memorandums of understanding in the field of culture, tourism and antiquities.

Al-Badrani also met with the Palestinian Minister of Culture, Atef Abu Saif, and the two sides discussed the importance of joint cooperation in the field of art, culture and antiquities. Al-Badrani suggested that the Palestinian side sign a memorandum of cultural and archaeological cooperation between the two countries.

It is noteworthy that Al-Badrani and his accompanying delegation participated, on Wednesday, in the work of the Conference of Arab Ministers of Culture, in its 23rd session, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and participated in its discussions, especially with regard to the axes of the final statement and the Saudi initiative.
