Jeddah– Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) Prof. Dr. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, at the headquarters of the secretariat general of the academy in Jeddah yesterday, received the Executive Director of Malaysia’s International Shariah Research Academy (ISRA) Dr. Mohamad Akram Laldin, as part of his visit to the IIFA.
Both sides discussed cooperation, coordination and communication between the two academies and the importance of embarking on the implementation of items of a strategic cooperation agreement between the two sides and benefiting from the potential and expertise of the two sides in all fields of mutual interest.
Dr. Laldin invited Prof. Sano to participate in a symposium that ISRA is scheduled to hold in next June in London on the importance of the Islamic finance, and reviewed the new project that ISRA is working on about including the intentional dimensions in various products of the Islamic finance industry.
