Iran… 5 years imprisonment for Rafsanjani’s daughter

Baghdad, The Iranian judicial authorities issued a 5-year prison sentence against Faezeh, daughter of former President Hashemi Rafsanjani, on charges of inciting riots and disturbing the country’s security.

Iranian state television published the news of the verdict against Faezeh Rafsanjani, who is in prison due to a previous ruling against her, for her conviction on similar charges, including incitement to violence and demonstrations in Iran.

Faezeh Rafsanjani has always criticized the Iranian government’s policies, whether in the internal or external file, as she considered in previous statements that “the activities of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard are expanding day after day, which makes it difficult for him to return to his camps.”

Rafsanjani expressed her disagreement with removing the Revolutionary Guards from the US sanctions list.

The daughter of the former Iranian President also sharply criticized the regime’s approach and regional policy, saying: “There are serious doubts about the ability of the current president, Ibrahim Raisi, to manage the executive apparatus.”
