Iranian Assistant Minister of the Interior: (8) terrorists were killed in Sistan and Baluchestan attack

Iranian Assistant Minister of the Interior for Security and Police Affairs, Majeed Mir Ahmadi, announced today, Thursday, that 8 terrorists who attacked a military headquarters in the cities of Chabahar and Rasak, south of Sistan and Baluchestan Province (southeast), were killed.

Regarding the latest developments in the clash that took place in southern Sistan and Baluchestan, Ahmadi said, according to the ‘IRNA’: ‘The terrorist group of the Army of Injustice attacked yesterday evening, and at the same time, the headquarters of the Revolutionary Guard and the Naval Guard in the cities of Chabahar and Konarak with the aim of seizing them and killing or capturing all the forces deployed there, however.’ Their operations failed one hundred percent, thanks to God, and in light of the valor and sacrifice of the valiant forces of the Revolutionary Guard, border guards, police forces, and naval guards.’

He added: “All the enemy elements were killed in this operation, while in the cities of Chabahar and Rasak, a nu
mber of the remaining terrorists were completely besieged by the security forces. Hours from now, they will be arrested and it is expected that their number will reach 6 people.”

He stressed that with the intervention of the security forces, support forces, and operations, the members of this terrorist group fled, as this operation failed completely, thanks to God. At present, the death toll has reached eight people, and this number is likely to increase to reach more than 20 people. Explaining: ‘The full numbers will be announced after the end of the operation by the leaders.’
