Iraqi Prime Minister receives Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs

Baghdad, The Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi , received at the Presidential Palace here today Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah.

During the meeting, Prince Faisal conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to the Prime Minister, the government and people of Iraq. For his part, the Prime Minister sent his greetings to the King, HRH Crown Prince, the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of Saudi-Iraqi relations and ways to support and enhance them to serve the interests of the two countries and peoples. They also discussed enhancing joint bilateral coordination and whatever contributes to the stability of the region and maintains international peace and security, in addition to exchanging views on many regional and international issues.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari.
