Israeli Occupation Arrests 25 Palestinians in West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces today arrested at least 25 Palestinians in the West Bank.

In a joint statement, Palestinian Prisoners Society and Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said that the arrests were concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah, Bethlehem, Hebron, Jenin, Nablus, Tulkarm and Occupied Jerusalem, noting that the occupation forces arrested a Palestinian woman who happens to be one of the hostages that were released as part of the recent exchange deals.

After 7 October, the number of Israeli arrests in the West Bank has risen to 7,655 people, which included those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, as well as those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostages, the statement added.

The occupation forces also arrested yesterday a group of Palestinians in the town of Al-Isawiya in Occupied Jerusalem, the statement added, indicating that neither the number or identity of the detainees is known yet.

The Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out widespread raids and torture during arrest operations against Palestinian civilians, accompanied by field investigations, attacks, threats, and widespread sabotage and destruction of private property.
