KSrelief Distributes Zakat Al-Fitr to 5,994 Families in Yemeni Governorates


Aden, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 5,994 bags of rice to vulnerable populations in Aden, Taiz and Lahj Governorates, Yemen, as part of the Zakat Al-Fitr project for 1445 AH (2024); some 41,958 individuals belonging to 5,994 families benefitted from this assistance.

Through the Zakat Al-Fitr project food assistance is delivered to underprivileged families in eight Yemeni governorates: Hodeidah, Taiz, Lahj, Aden, Ma’rib, Hadramaut, Al-Mahra, and Hajjah. The entire project targeted a total of 31,333 families, representing 219,331 individuals.

The initiative helps vulnerable populations secure their food needs during Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

It is part of the ongoing relief and humanitarian efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, to consistently provide different kind of aid to countries and people in need across the globe.
